Dear Esteemed Readers
It is a great honour for us to publish Volume 4, Issue 2 of the Zimbabwe Journal of Business, Economics and Management (ZJBEM). The issue’s publication coincides with Zimbabwe Open University’s Silver Jubilee Celebrations. The journal welcomes original empirical studies and comprehensive literature review articles focusing on contemporary issues of business, economics and management. Publications in our journal are and will be freely accessible and free of article processing charges. This enables more effective implementation of academic freedom, more innovations, transparency and openness. Eighteen high quality manuscripts are published in this Issue and each paper was subjected to a double-blind peer review process. There are diverse research topics discussed in the articles including artificial intelligence, banking and finance, data analytics, entrepreneurship, human capital management, corporate governance, local government and transport and logistics.
I want to thank our authors, peer reviewers and issue editors who helped to publish this issue. Through their dedication and hard work, ZJBEM continues to flourish. We are a volunteer force united by a passion for the advancement of knowledge in business, economics and management sciences.
